Located in the Duluth's original 1889 City Hall building in the heart of the Historic Arts and Theatre (HART) District is downtown Duluth’s newest boutique hotel, The Oliver Inn. We created each of our 13 rooms with special care to preserve our historic building and its original character. Each room commemorates a local historic figure whose courage to live their dream shaped the city we all know and love today. As a bonus for our guests, the building also houses an on-site restaurant, cocktail lounge, yoga/spin studio, and cedar sauna.

The space

Our largest and most luxurious room, once the City Council Chamber Room, this suite has an airy feel; windows cover 2 walls reaching up to the 14ft ceilings, pulling your eye towards the ornate chandeliers and a one-of-a-kind intricate skylight. Our Chamber Suite provides a multitude of features allowing for space to stretch out while spending time together, with two sofas, one folding out to a double bed, a plush leather chair, a six-person dining table, and multiple other seating areas, you are bound to find your cozy place. Be sure to fix yourself a tasty drink at the (unstocked) dry bar. The bedroom features a traditional King size four-poster bed in a modern styled private space creating a beautifully juxtaposed statement for your special getaway. The Chamber Suite is the epitome of laid-back luxury for the downtown traveler, designed for today’s modern guests but with traditional touches like the original vault-style safe and stunning fireplace.
